WJ Mitchell and Associates had a mid-year praise and awards function on Friday 3 July at the WJ offices. The event is to celebrate and give credit where it is due to members of staff for hard work and excellence.


The afternoon event, which was pretty low key and intimate due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, was a good opportunity to  catch up and reflect on what has been a difficult year so far.


Each staff member received something but the three main award winners were for the following:


  • Wesley Thompson, new staff member – received an award for stepping into the VAT department and implement bank manager to make it easier to do the data capturing
  • Jean Paul Beya – received an award for being the most consistent with good figures for the last three months.
  • Thando Mkwanazi and Nandi Mhlongo received a joint prize for taking control of the compliance department


Siza Ntshangase, received a five year award – excellent performance with clients and staff and Tasmira Khan received the WJ Mitchell floating trophy award for improving the turnover of the office through great management.


Congratulations! We are proud of our staff and we look forward to a fruitful second half of 2020 and for a time when we can take and share images of our awards events.
